There is a version of Gluten Glory that most people don't know about.
Not the weekend brunch. Not the sourdough loaf or the croissant. The weekday menu — a daily-changing set of dishes built for people who come back regularly and want something different every time.
Monday to Friday, we cook a separate menu. It changes daily.
The daily menu at Gluten Glory is a nutritionally balanced set of dishes inspired by cuisines from around the world — Romanian, French, Greek, Italian, Asian and beyond. It is designed for the regular customer: someone who has already worked through the main menu and wants to eat well without thinking too hard about it.
Each day brings a different combination — a Romanian ciorbă alongside a French-style gratin, an Asian-inspired bowl followed by a Greek salad, a slow-cooked Italian braise with fresh bread from the morning bake. The kitchen decides based on what is fresh, what is seasonal, and what makes sense together.
It is not a fixed formula. It is a daily decision.
The daily menu exists because of our regulars.
Gluten Glory sits in a working neighbourhood in northern Bucharest. Many of our customers come multiple times a week — for the morning coffee, for the weekend brunch, for a quick lunch between meetings. After a while, even a menu you love becomes familiar.
The daily menu is our answer to that. Something new every day, made properly, priced for people who are coming back rather than discovering us for the first time.
If you work nearby, live in the area, or simply find yourself at Strada Copilului 20A more than once a week — this menu is for you.
We pay attention to what goes on the daily menu. The combinations are chosen with balance in mind — protein, vegetables, grains, something warm. Not in a clinical way. In the way that a good home cook thinks about feeding people well without making it complicated.
Romanian cuisine gives us slow-cooked stews, fresh salads, pickled vegetables, hearty soups. French cuisine gives us technique and richness. Greek cuisine gives us simplicity and olive oil. Italian gives us pasta and patience. Asian cuisines give us contrast — acid, heat, umami alongside the butter and bread that define everything else at Gluten Glory.
The result is a menu that moves. It does not repeat. It reflects the week, the season, and what we feel like cooking.
The daily menu is available Monday to Friday during lunch service at Gluten Glory, Strada Copilului 20A, Bucharest. Open from 8:00.
It changes every day. The best way to know what's on is to come in and ask — or follow us on Instagram, where we post the daily menu regularly.
Walk-ins always welcome. Reservations available via ialoc.ro for groups.
